Licensing Terms

All articles published in  Scientific Journal of Dermatology and Venereology (SJDV) are released under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) licence. Authors retain the copyright of their work, and the journal applies this licence to every article it publishes.

Under this licence, users are free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material.

The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as the licence terms are followed.

Under the following terms:

  • Attribution (BY) — users must give appropriate credit to the author(s) and to the original publication in SJDV, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made. This may be done in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the journal or the author endorses the user or their use.
  • NonCommercial (NC) — users may not use the material for commercial purposes.
  • ShareAlike (SA) — if users remix, transform, or build upon the material, they must distribute their contributions under the same licence as the original.
  • No additional restrictions — users may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the licence permits.

These licence terms apply to the content of the articles. They do not extend to material credited to a different source or held under separate copyright; permission for the reuse of such material must be sought from the original rights holder.
