Sriwijaya Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal committed to disseminating high-quality, impactful research across the full spectrum of women's reproductive health. The journal's primary aim is to advance clinical practice, public health policy, and foundational knowledge in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences, with a notable emphasis on health challenges in developing nations and diverse populations.

Scope

The scope of the journal is comprehensive, encompassing a wide range of clinical and translational research. SJOG invites the submission of rigorous manuscripts, including meta-analyses, randomized controlled trials, cohort studies, mixed-methods research, and significant case reports, in the following key areas:

Maternal-Fetal Medicine & Obstetrics: Research on strategies to reduce maternal mortality , the management of high-risk pregnancies, and the analysis of complex obstetric complications, such as fetal malpresentation and congenital uterine anomalies (e.g., uterus bicornuate).

Adolescent Gynecology & Reproductive Health: Studies focusing on significant public health issues, including the analysis of sociodemographic and psychosocial risk factors for adolescent pregnancy and the evaluation of nutritional interventions for conditions like iron deficiency anemia in female adolescents.

Gynecologic Oncology: Investigations into the prevention, diagnosis, and screening of gynecological cancers. This includes assessing the effectiveness of novel healthcare delivery models, such as telemedicine and HPV DNA self-sampling, for cervical cancer screening in remote or underserved populations.

Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI): Multicenter and cohort studies identifying key factors that influence the success rates of assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). The scope also covers the prevalence, risk factors, and management of endocrine disorders such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).

Family Planning & Contraception: Mixed-methods research and cross-sectional studies that explore the Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) regarding contraception, particularly among young women in urban environments.

Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery: Case reports and studies on rare and complex infective conditions of the female perineum, such as Fournier's gangrene
