Authors who publish in SJOG agree to the following terms:

• Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, which permits others to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided the author and the original publication in this journal are properly acknowledged and any derivative work is distributed under the same license terms.
• Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version (for example, depositing it in an institutional repository or including it in a book), with acknowledgement of its initial publication in SJOG.
• Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (in institutional repositories, on personal or institutional websites, or in scholarly networks), provided publication in SJOG is acknowledged and a link to the published version is included.
