Focus
Scientific Journal of Pediatrics (SJPed) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to all areas of pediatrics and child health. Its primary aim is to disseminate high-quality, ethically sound clinical, epidemiological, and translational research that advances the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases affecting infants, children, and adolescents, with particular attention to challenges relevant to low- and middle-income countries.
Scope
The journal's scope is comprehensive and spans general pediatrics and all of its subspecialties. SJPed welcomes original research, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and case reports across, but not limited to, the following areas:

A downloadable template is provided for each article type. In line with its commitment to methodological rigour, SJPed does not consider narrative (non-systematic) literature reviews; review articles are accepted only as systematic reviews, with or without meta-analysis, reported according to PRISMA. There is no fixed limit on manuscript length or on the number of tables and figures; authors should aim for clarity and avoid unnecessary repetition.
