In keeping with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative, readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles, and use them for any lawful non-commercial purpose, without prior permission, provided the original work is properly cited. This unrestricted access supports the global exchange of knowledge and the advancement of child health.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright. All articles are distributed under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence, allowing sharing and adaptation for non-commercial purposes with proper credit and under the same licence terms.
Funding of Open Access
Because the journal does not charge readers, costs are supported by an Article Processing Charge levied only after acceptance. There is no submission fee, and an author's ability to pay never influences editorial decisions.
Self-Archiving
Authors may deposit the published version in institutional or subject repositories, on personal or institutional websites, and in scholarly networks, provided publication in SJPed is acknowledged with a link to the published version.
Digital Preservation and Identification
