Authors who publish in Scientific Journal of Pediatrics (SJPed) agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) licence, which permits others to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided the author and the original publication in this journal are properly acknowledged and any derivative work is distributed under the same licence terms.
- Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version (for example, depositing it in an institutional repository or including it in a book), with acknowledgement of its initial publication in SJPed.
- Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (institutional repositories, personal or institutional websites, scholarly networks), provided publication in SJPed is acknowledged and a link to the published version is included.
Author Warranties
By submitting a manuscript, the authors warrant that the work is their own original work, that it has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere, that it does not infringe any existing copyright or third-party right, and that they have obtained all permissions necessary for the reproduction of material owned by others, including written consent for the publication of identifiable patient material (parental/guardian consent for a child) where applicable.
