SJRIR is a fully open-access journal. Every article is made freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription, registration, or payment barriers to readers. This policy is founded on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and accelerates the advancement of radiology and medical imaging science.

Free and Immediate Access

All content published by SJRIR can be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, searched, and linked to in full text without financial, legal, or technical barriers, in keeping with the Budapest Open Access Initiative definition of open access. There is no embargo period; articles are accessible to all readers worldwide from the date of publication.

Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Under the terms of this license, users are free to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the license is provided, any changes are indicated, and any adapted material is distributed under the same license. Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant SJRIR the right of first publication. No transfer of copyright to the publisher is required. Authors are therefore free to deposit all versions of their article (submitted, accepted, and published) in institutional or subject repositories and to reuse their work in subsequent publications, with due acknowledgement of its original publication in SJRIR.

Article Processing Charge

To sustain open access, SJRIR applies an Article Processing Charge (APC), which is levied only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. There is no submission fee, and there are no charges to readers. Editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit, peer-review results, ethical compliance, and journal suitability, and are not influenced by the authors' ability to pay. Digital Preservation and Identification

Each article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure persistent, citable access. To safeguard the permanence of the scholarly record, SJRIR maintains long-term digital preservation of its published content, ensuring continued availability even in the event that the journal ceases to publish.
