SJN is an open-access journal. There is no submission fee. An Article Processing Charge (APC) is levied only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following peer review, and editorial decisions are never influenced by an author’s ability to pay.

Regional Adjustments for International Authors

To keep publication equitable across regions, the following automatic adjustments apply to the standard international APC:

Fee Waivers

SJN is committed to ensuring that the ability to pay is never a barrier to publishing sound neurological research:

• The regional adjustments above are applied automatically, based on the affiliation of the corresponding author.
• In addition, authors facing genuine financial hardship may request a further discount or a full waiver by writing to the editorial office at sriwijayajournalneurology@gmail.com before the final decision.
• Waiver requests are considered case-by-case and in confidence, and have no bearing on the editorial outcome.

Payment & Conditional Acceptance

After peer review and acceptance, the journal issues a Conditional Acceptance Notification together with the APC invoice. The official Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is issued only after the APC has been paid and confirmed. Authors should complete payment within three (3) calendar days of the invoice date; if payment is not completed and no prior written arrangement has been approved, the manuscript may be considered withdrawn and further production halted.

Editorial handling and peer-review management, language and technical copy-editing, professional typesetting, Crossref DOI registration, indexing support, and permanent open-access hosting.
