Aims and Scope

Sriwijaya Journal of Forensic and Medicolegal (SJFM) is a peer-reviewed, fully open-access journal serving research and professional scholarship in forensic medicine, medicolegal practice, and allied sciences.

The journal welcomes work on forensic pathology, clinical forensic medicine, forensic identification, toxicology, medico-legal analysis, and related scientific, ethical, and legal questions. Submissions should present a clear contribution supported by appropriate evidence and ethical practice.

Article types

SJFM considers original research articles, case reports, narrative reviews, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, mini-reviews, and book reviews. Authors should select an appropriate format and follow the Author Guidelines.

Publication and access

Published by Phlox Institute, SJFM issues two editions each year, in May and November. Manuscripts passing editorial screening undergo double-blind review by at least three independent reviewers. Published articles are immediately accessible under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright.
